New Location for Imagine Chaleur and New 2024 Tourism Guide
Bathurst, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 - This morning, the Economic Development and Tourism Department of the Chaleur Regional Services Commission (CSRC) simultaneously inaugurated Imagine Chaleur's new premises and presented its new summer tourist guide for the year 2024. The event brought together numerous guests and dignitaries to mark this double occasion.
Imagine Chaleur: A New Location
Almost a year to the day, the CRSC's Economic Development and Tourism Department officially launched Imagine Chaleur, its economic development brand. Since then, the new entity has greatly evolved, and recently moved its offices to 219 Main Street, in the heart of downtown Bathurst.
This new location reinforces Imagine Chaleur's visibility and accessibility for all those seeking advice and support for their current or future businesses. "Our mission is to transform potential into prosperity, and visions into reality. We facilitate dialogue, build strategic partnerships, and offer tailor-made support so that each project finds its way to success," said Shirley de Silva, Director of Economic Development and Tourism at the CRSC. "Our move to the heart of Bathurst is therefore not just a simple change of location. Rather, it stems from a desire to be more accessible, closer and more integrated into the economic ecosystem of our territory," she added.
Bathurst Mayor Kim Chamberlain expressed her support and the importance of the new location. "The establishment of Imagine Chaleur's Bathurst office is an asset for the development of complementary resources for businesses in the region. It will be an important lever to ensure that our entrepreneurs can maximize their development and growth efforts. I congratulate Ms. de Silva and her team for this commitment to the business community," said Chamberlain.
New 2024 Tourist Guide
Through Tourism Chaleur, the CRSC's Economic Development and Tourism Department has also launched its new 2024 summer tourism guide, entitled "Seize the Moment". The guide encourages visitors to explore the rich cultural, recreational and natural diversity of the Chaleur region. Enhanced with numerous picturesque images and strategically placed QR codes, the guide enhances the user experience by offering quick access to additional information and resources via the Tourism Chaleur website.
Copies of the new 2024 tourism guide are available free of charge from Imagine Chaleur offices, as well as from all provincial tourism centers.
